As a mezzo soprano with a wide voice range, I get stuck with whatever doesn't have enough people. The altos were rather grumpy. XD

i am a true alto
i can only sing high notes 'falsetto'
and i sing alto in choir so i am okay :D
i don't know if i can get far with my voice i hope that at least 1 true alto is needed everywhere and i find my place in a theatre

voice parts are determined by timbre, not range. most altos can sing soprano perfectly fine. range only really matters in girls if it's extremely high or extremely low.

I had to sing Alto for my whole HS year and it was dreading since I am a SOPRANO >.>

the funniest thing is scott was so not kidding when he called himself great. I'll gladly hear him say how great he is when something huge actually happens. Cant stand the arrogance...sadly its not always his songs that are amazing, as much as it is the singers who make them amazing.
