These things are fake , the wate you use determines the color . Try Culligan water , tap water , and then say Dasani . Don't even put your feet in and it will change the color . We sent ours back as have others when we figured how fake they are .

The particles are from the electrolysis.

@thesepipesRclean PURE distilled water - nothing would happen. Ive done it. Of course the water is going to change a little bit if your feet are not in it..what do you think is in our drinking water? Toxins, bacteria, and chemicals are in our drinking water. genious.

@AwsomeUsername1 DUH- water has toxins in it GENIOUS

Most tap water has Copper Calcium iron etc in it . By Ionizing the water over time you seperate out the elements as mentioned above thus yielding the colors that form in the water over time Example Copper is Blue/Green Iron is red LOL

We spent SIX MONTHS trying to find a REAL one of these for our clinic.
Like cell phones, mp3 players, and computers...there are ALOT cheap knock-offs, in the SAME housing...
we eventually found a REGISTERED medical supplier.
and YES....the water DOES run clear....10 sessions, 14 days...
ordinary tap water....two DIFFERENT people...
one with liver issues (slight orange tinge)
one will gallbladder issues (faint green)
there's alot of fake Ipod's out there too...be careful.

I have 2 metal plates in my leg , should I use this ion footbath. Can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone. Doreen

@ReuWil Yea , I can't believe people still fall for this scam , these things have already been proven to be completely fake . There was a health food store in my town that was selling these units . They since apologized and admitted they were proven to be a rip-off.

@HL4Y Yes - "real" people are very gullible and fall for scams. It is not possible for this device to do what you claim it does - period. The "toxins" are the oxidation of the metal in the device. You can stick the very end of your pinky finger into the water and get the same level of "toxins" - you can use a carrot, celery stick, book, etc. and get the same results with the device. It is pure nonsense.
Having metal plates in your legs should not be a problem however, you'll need to speak with someone who has expert knowledge in electricity and grounding. I'm sure, you could be setup to do this, but you will need to take extra precautionary measures.
