Honoring Street Fighter 4, I bring you a series of epic battles from past Capcom titles and other games influenced by Street Fighter. This is "Fatal Fury" (1991, SNK), the earliest crack at fighting games by a company that owe so, so much to Capcom, heh. Actually, it's more unique than first impression.
You can only choose three characters through story mode, and the CPU is fairly difficult even
on "normal" setting. The graphics are pretty impressive for its time, and the sprites are
quite large compared to later sequels in the Fatal Fury series. It seems as time
went on, SNK made Fatal Fury resemble more and more like "Street Fighter 2".
This first installment, however, deserve some credit for having good visuals
and challenging AI.
