Cold start my 1990 Ford F150 Custom EFI 4X4 w/ a 5.0 engine.

I don't like EFI, but this is a pretty good truck. Has been good for me. Special made for Amoco Pipeline (Now BP (British Petroleum or as they now say beyond Petroleum)) Not much different than a normal F150 Custom but only a handful just like this one.

Thanks. Yeah 460 is a good engine. Definately plenty of power, with 4X4 I usually see them average 8-10mpg.

i like your thoughts on each engine cause they are all just about httin the right spot. to me the 460 would be a good choice, there's people out there with low built/ but still making alot of power, and still get about 10mpg

What makes this anydifferent from a normal F150?. Ive had 3 from this era and they all look the same as this one

Here are my oppinions: 352fe=longest lasting, 390fe=best street car 427fe=best performance 460=best for big truck power 351m/400m= best for high power pickups with less power but way better economy than a 460, 351c/w best for mid size street car 289= best for light car 300l6= best for light duty f-150 302=best for small rat rod/hot rod or f-150 428=nostalgia, not a real good engine 429=imitation 427 lol. 390, 352, and 427 are my all time favorites.

Same here I don't like efi either. Rather have an old big block with a four barrel and a stick shift.

cool but I don't perfher EFI, I perfher carbs better
