Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com.

This is according to a study performed by Siobhan Banks, PhD, a research fellow at the University of South Australia and former assistant research professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
An abstract of the study was presented at "SLEEP 2009", the 23rd Annual Meeting of the
Associated Professional Sleep Societies.
Many studies have found a lack of sleep is associated with
weight gain being heavier and an increased risk of diabetes.
I believe lack of sleep is one of the dozen or more factors as to why we have gotten heavier since 1980.
My advice is
get enough sleep.
