Jerusalem -- an unrelenting city of extremes. A city whose annals are marked by streams of blood; a city conquered repeatedly and ruled by many different rulers; a city of faith carved into its historical layers; a city in which the chimes of church bells blend with the laments of Jews praying in synagogues and the cries of Muezzins in their tall mosques; a city in which the holy of holies of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths touch at an intersection of religions, charged and fragile, fraught with emotion.




Jerusalem stands before a 'King Solomon Dilemma', between two peoples and three religions, whose believers are trying to find a path to mutual existence, while each regards the city as its beating heart without which life is not possible.
