Oregon's allowed to use anything in the fact statement, according to a question on the official listserv
PS Leslie Lane is not guilty! :D

Who has Kelly Anderson v John Riley High School and Dale Rockford?

Aight.

this year is so one sided for the prosecution overall, but the pretrial is terrible

They're our rival mock trial school. I was on the B team last year, but they and our a team almost always end up at county finals last year, and last year they won so now we hate them even more :)

Not sure if others are still viewing this video...but Oregon just got this case for the 2010 competition and I really think Leslie is guilty, but don't think Arson can be proved - which is what the state would really like to get him on since urging a riot is only a misdemeanor.
Also, is there anyway that we can USE the song as evidence/testimony? Because it's only listed in the fact situation and witnesses are bound by their affidavits. Leslie can probably use it, but people who heard it?

Hello. You are free to use the video, but please check your state competition rules to make sure that it is allowed.
Thanks,
