I hope to god you wouldnt eat these after they are done. Being out in the open like that is a magnet for germs and dust, as well as the twine being unsanitary. Good idea though for pet food!

@gallademan12 I have heard of people doing it in the oven, sort of as a shortcut to a drying oven. I have not tried it myself. From what others who have tried it tell me, it makes the apples taste more like apple pie and a bit more gummy than air drying.
