Just showing what can be done with only one string. The previous "tests" of this d-bow were done through a 100W tube Marshall half stack, and it was loud and glorious. This test was done through a 40W tube Fender Blues Deluxe, which wasn't turned up very loud at all. However, it was loud enough to shake the camera! Cool!

  • are you uusing a wah wah pedal?

  • @PEPS165 No, I've got a Whammy pedal here, which is doing the pitch bends.

  • amazing sound, those things are incredible! what gauge string are you using?

  • @smokinghull Honestly... I don't remember! I seem to think it was a guitar string (not a bass string), but still very thick... maybe somewhere around .060?

  • i made a diddley bow a couple weeks ago. how would i be able to ground the pickup?

  • @gunsandammo92 I'll tell you right off that I didn't ground the strings (I assume that's what you mean?) on mine. You could, potentially, run a ground wire from the output jack to the nail/screw the string is attached to... if you wanted to.
