Mike and Nikki get inspired to find a new spring. After checking out www.findaspring.com we found a spring in Big Bear, CA which is not far from my cousins place. What an awesome adventure! The water was amazing and the fresh air and views were perfect! Springs are essential in our journey to living a life we love to look at!
Our directions to the spring:
(Unfortunatly we only have directions from San Diego, CA to the spring but hopefully you can find it from that)
92116 (From North Park, San Diego, CA)
I-15 N - 56.6 mi
Slight right onto I-215 N (signs for Riverside/San Bernardino) - 34.8 mi
Slight right to stay on I-215 N (signs for San Bernardino/Barstow) - 5.9 mi
Take exit 40A to merge onto I-10 E toward Redlands - 5.2 mi
Take exit 77B for CA-210 W/Foothill Fwy toward Pasadena/Running Springs/CA-330 - 0.9 mi
Merge onto California 210 E/Foothill Fwy - 4.0 mi
Take exit 81 to merge onto CA-330 N/City Creek Rd
Continue to follow CA-330 N - 15.3 mi
Continue onto Hilltop Blvd - 0.2 mi
Continue onto CA-18 E - 12.4 mi
Turn right onto CA-18 E/Big Bear Blvd - 0.5 mi
Turn left to stay on CA-18 E/Big Bear Blvd
About 8-9 miles down the road you will see the pull off spot.
I would NOT just pull in because it's on the opposite of the road from where you will coming up from. I WOULD go up to the lake and find a safe place to turn around. It's only another 5-8 minutes up the road and it's a beautiful place to visit and have a picnic :)
Go to http://www.findaspring.com/artic-circle-spring-big-bear-lake-ca/ to get some photos to see where you have reached your destination.
Please email Nikki at nikki@bnhealthy.net if you have any questions.
Hope these directions help you out and I hope you make it to the spring.
Much Love,
BN Healthy Team ;)
