A Historic plantation home along the Ashley River in Charleston, Drayton Hall is a window into life on the 18th and 19th century Southern plantation. In March 2001, a multi-skilled preservation team began a conservation project to save the home from ravages of time.
I have been to Drayton Hall and it is a great place to visit. I am glad to see it being continually preserved. The visit there was a wonderful experience.
