In 2010 and 2011 Oceana partnered with SeaLife Conservation and their eco-research sailboat, the Derek M. Baylis, and the Monterey Bay Sanctuary to explore and document Monterey Bay and other incredible West Coast ocean habitats with a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and camera.

I loved this video and have been a lifelong admirer of Jacques Cousteau, and his family. I absolutely agree that it is man's responsibility to protect Nature--in fact, we must understand that we are part of Nature--part of the ecosystem, the circle of life. Fishing is a good thing, it is part of who we are--but it must be done sensitively and correctly. This is a beautiful video. Thank you.
