Or just jump over the railing, scream as you go down, crash through the bridge windows, find your way to the captain's cabin while picking pieces of glass from your skin and throwing them at the crew members trying to stop you, find the captain's rum, take it and escape by jumping through the cabin window, fall to the front deck because you forgot the window was facing forward, stagger to the railing, fall over board and miss the shrimp boat you were supposed to hit... Or something.
