update: the other songs you get by beating each venue in career mode, and the update songs IS the 3 new songs every month.

update 4/13/08 -- You only start out with four songs because, like 'real' guitar hero, you have to beat the different venues in order to unlock the other songs. Also, the 'video stuttering' you may notice could be because of the htc video driver issues (search google for more info), so it should play fine on other devices.
