A couple hours on the NEC in Mansfield, Massachusetts. First we see a Boston bound MBTA commuter followed by a Providence bound train. A single CSX locomotive then shows up and moves off to a branch line. A couple Acela Express trainsets then blow by at high speed followed by one more Boston bound commuter. Finally, an Amtrak Regional heads south toward Providence. Recorded at the Mansfield MBTA station on July 25, 2008.

On the northern branches of the mbta commuter rail the doors are often left open for the entire trip, and they aren't even automatic, but it's really no big deal

those double decker T cars have the dirtiest windows i have ever seen. Love the F40 with the ghetto bars.

Interesting how the conductor left the doors open as the train was departing!! Do that here on MNR, and do look for a lengthy vacation.....WITHOUT PAY!!!
