Just a note: this is an increase, also called KRL (knit right loop) and Cat Bordhi calls it LRinc (lifted right increase). It is NOT the K1b stitch used in the Knit 1 below technique, which is not an increase at all but a form of brioche.

@sameknit This was the way K1B was described in a specific pattern that one of my knitting buddies was working on at our weekly knitting group. She was having a hard time getting the hang of it and was worried that she wouldn't remember how to do it once she got home, so I recorded it and posted it to YouTube for her to reference it as needed. Didn't realize I would end up with so many views. In any case, I hope your comment is helpful to anyone looking to do the K1B.
