This is not a bad Fitzgerald adaptation at all and certainly better than the seventies fashion victim Redford version.Since we're having a very welcome Alan Ladd festival,is there any chance of seeing "Hell On Frisco Bay" in which he's teamed with Edward G Robinson?It's not exactly a classic but it would be good to see those two square off.
