hi,! my dog is 10 months. I teach my dog to the 2on2off. I've placed at 40 cm from the ground A FRAME. I can already teach both methods?it is important to tilt at 100 degrees the A-frame?at this time for the 2on2off only use a voice command for the dog to climb.for to diversify command for running contact, I can say, "climb"> "run" ?

With amazing running contacts like that I wouldn't think you'd ever use the 2o/2o! Does Kisa know how to turn after a running contact?

This is great!

Loved it!! Always wanted to do that kind of training but still don't have a dog to be trained that way... haha. Maybe I'll retrain my schipperke just for the fun of it! Thanks again Polona!

In my experience, a fast 2on2off is equally fast to RC when a dog needs to turn sharply, because in order to do so, he has to reduce the speed on the down-plank. I do however have use turning after the RC with my other 2 dogs, but I had many complications to train one of them to do so.

The problem was that her running contacts were not perfect from the beginning. In fact they were sooo bad (on competitions) that I decided to re-train them completely to 2on2off. In the process of teaching the 2on2off she somehow got better understanding that the end of the plank is important so her running contacts have improved. Therefore I have decided to keep both. No, she does not know how to turn sharply after RC, in those situations I use 2on2off.
