Okay, so it helps to watch this part of the video first before commenting... I see you used compression fittings..much better that lead solder! Drinking water from copper pipes is not so bad but there are more ideal materials, as I mentioned before... one good idea is to find an old used stainless steel distiller and use the condensing coil out of it. Well at that rate, pull the cover off of the old distiller and aim your lens at the boiling chamber!

When you finally get a design that works efficiently, then you need to understand that any surfaces that contact the steam and the condensed steam need to be mainly stainless steel piping, glass containers or high density plastics, so as not to contaminate the water. Especially the copper tubing will be dissolved by the slightly acidic steam, and if you have used lead solder in your pipe structure, please do not drink the water, it is poisonous! What your boiling pan is made of does not matter

Reminds me of a Rube Goldberg contraption.

Don't use electric fan. Use a metal fan or turbine. Heat increases pressure. Pressure use turn blades if plumbed correctly.

Use a motorcycle radiator for vapourizer, spray w/ black bbq paint and a car radiator as a condenser.Submerge the condenser in water & DON'T paint it. Set vapourizer above condenser so no pumping. Have the condenser empty when it gets 1/3 full; remember pressure safety relief valve! Please remember to insulate everything but the condenser and vapourizer. Mirrors instead of a lenses work better. Watch:"GREENPOWERSCIENCE" channel.
Pretty cool. Is that fat piece of pipe a heat exchanger or is the steam pipe open to the air? If your steam pipe is open to the air you'll condense a little and lose a lot of your steam. A heat exchanger will condense the steam and still contain it.
Contact with steam and moisture will ruin that awesome little fan.
Now I want to build a distiller just so I can show you what I'm talking about!

That's great suggestion! I had been unable to get a great sun to test the whole setup lately...been raining every single day...what's up with this weather!
Yes, I guess I need to change the design somewhat....to be a fully covered design...and the fan...maybe a special one...without electronics touching the steam or water...but just a propeller with gears...but much harder to make.

@simontay78 How about using the steam or heated air to power the fan?

@captmoa Unfortunately the steam does damage the fan LOL hmmm I probably will need to restart the project.
Thanks guys for giving me the comments! :D

Recently there had been so much rain...I can't even begin to test the concept haha :)
