My First Burn! (fire hooping)

My first time ever firehooping!. This was a workshop taught by Marlenah at Pastorius Park April 2009. It was sooo exhilarating. I loved every minute of it. and am totally hooked now. At first I was a bit nervous as I was not expecting that amount of heat on my arms. My arm hair was a bit singed off but nothing got burned that shouldn't have! It was the most lovely feeling and such a beautiful night for it. The sound of the roaring flames is magical! Just got my own firehoop made by Jeremiah, so hopefully I get more comfortable as I continue to practice. Thanks so much to Jeremiah for filming too!

This is awesome. I'm downloading it (hope you don't mind) and I'm going to play it with "Feed the Fire" playing (nothing against the music you're hooping to, it's *very* cool, I just want to see it with FTF).
