Invasive Asian Carp Jumping at Stump Lake near Grafton, IL

Recorded on September 26, 2009 using a Flip Video camcorder.

Invasive Asian Silver Carp jumping in Stump Lake (Grafton, IL). The water was relatively calm with just a few carp jumping now and again until the two guys showed up on their motorboat and spooked all the fish.

if 1/2 of the stupid people in this country that spread these stupid rumors would just try these they would be shocked. i HAVE eaten this fish and thell be on my plate now in the place of catfish and crappie. there white meat and far better tasting than any other fresh water fish. if you like catfish, smelt, or bass. eat one of these. youll toss the others on the banks. just stupid people talking out there ass about shit they havent a clue about as usual in this country.

Next time catch as many as you can and throw them up on shore for the coons to eat. They don't belong in our rivers. They escaped hatcheries during floods. Kill them all before they devour everything in the river and destroy all the other species.
