He is so far beyond everyone else - just on a completely different plane. To my mind - noone better. What great musicians he gets in his bands, too.

Beck has had some fantastic bands,Simon and Hammer,Bozzio and Hymas,Stewart, Hopkins and Wood,Powell and Middleton,Tal and Vinnie etc.But I've got to say with Batten,Taylor and Alexander this lineup is edgier and more dynamic than anything i've seen him with.Viva Jeff Beck,may the MASTER live for eternity.How about a reunion of this super group?

@fed1126 Lucky you. I *finally* saw him in 2001 playing this after having bought this album in 1980 when it came out.
I'm so glad that Jeff Beck has been a part of the soundtrack of my life. There are far worse things to fill your head with. At 67 he's still going strong...hope we see him into his 80s. :)

he is like a shooting star better see it when you can because when he is gone you will never see another quite like him. I have seen him at least 50 times dateing back to 1968 up til last show with Imeld Mae he is the very best no one compares period...........
