You never want to use regular tap water in this. People have died from an amoeba which commonly found in rivers, lakes and ponds. It only takes is a hair line crack in you pipes for this to get into your water. Use that water in your neti pot and it goes right to your brain. They say distilled or boiled water only.

the neti pot is a good idea, but using warm tap water isnt. it should be purified water warmed up. it did the trick for me today. i dont know how long my nostril has been clogged. could be years. im certain my sleeping will improve from now on.

yeah and not to mention that hot tap water has a high amount of metals and sediment. you know when a hot water heater isnt in use, the metals and sediment falls to the bottom.
