Rob @ Rob's Detector Sales (623-362-1459) detecting drywashing coarse tailing piles for gold nuggets. I was using the Minelab GPX-4500 metal detector and Coiltek Lightweight Goldstalker 14-inch ellipitcal searchcoil. Found two small gold nuggets in this pile, but found over 20 in the area searching slow. For more information on gold nugget detecting, contact me at - www.nuggethunting.com

  • Good lil find Rob. I just subscribed, so I hope you can teach me a few things. I don't have the Mine Lab Detectors but I do have a Tesoro Super Trac, I'm hoping that will do good enough. Of course I'm in the gold belt of North GA. There's a good bit of color here but have not tried my detector on it yet. If you have any helpful info it would be greatly appreciated. God Bless !
