3 new banded kraits my friend picked up from a distant city, also in the south of Thailand.

Banded Krait venom is less toxic than the Malayan Krait venom.

These snakes don't tend to strike during daylight hours, but at night they are quite active, and much more vicious. Most people are bitten at night as they sleep on the floor of their hut, outside, or somewhere snakes can easily reach. These banded kraits are almost entirely snake eaters.
