pretty cool i love astromony but i think amid a global financel crises, the eu spending there money on something not very essential is a bit shocking in all honesty, it is interesting though.

Science is amazing, we understand nature but dimly understand what it really is, through Science we slowly but gradually awnser the questions that have puzzled us through the beggining. Science is not a simple subject that is taught, rather it is a tool that we use to understand the amazing nature we live in.

It ultimately goes like this: Earth orbits because the sun attracts earth and earth attracts sun and sun has lots more mass.
But how to explain existance of universe, when there is no logical explanation for it to exist in the first place? Well.... it's magic, can't say anything else. Its where logic we are used to stopp working. Everything is so wierd.

You just finished saying magic governs the Universe... I really do hope that was a joke, The laws of Physics govern the Universe, you make things more complicated than they really are.

Beauty lies in the simplicity, The greatest scientist, Issac Newton, of all time explicitly said that the Universe is quite simple and that's where the beauty lies, the second greatest scientist of all time said:

"When the awnser is simple, God is awnsering" -Albert Einstein

You missunderstood me. I know about the laws, but try to bring up why they are here...
Oh, you hit the wall don't you? There is completely no reason for them to exist, or anything to exist. Its where universe might break its only rule: logic. One thing follows another. But what caused everything that exists now? Ah, get it? ;)

Of course it is impossible to understand God or the primary cause, nothing science can explain the origin of the laws of Physics. It all comes down to a person's philosphy. I'm not here to debate anything, I'm here to lay down what Science is. I myself see the Universe as an engineered project of the almighty God, the great engineer as Newton would say. It is all up to the indiivudal to conclude what started the Universe through their philosophy.
