In this video you may observe me playing the bass line to Jimi Hendrix's "The Wind Cries Mary." Noel Redding (I believe) played on this recording, and it's definitely a bass line. I used the Peavey T-40 that I got off of eBay that arrived nearly unplayable. The electronics only work on about half of the configurations possible, but it still plays great even if it takes some wrastlin' to get it together. Wrastlin' dem doggies. Wrastlin'.

  • is the t-40 active or passive?

  • @chrisslipknt444 The T-40 is passive, but it actually has higher output than another of my basses that is active.
