A video that my brother and I put together to show some of the disaster areas that occupy Cedar Rapids, IA. No one could imagine that the waters would rise so high, so fast and cause so much destruction.

Great video. As I have lived in this area for most of my life I just don't see how you can like or dislike it. The CRIA will prevail for sure

Cherokee is flooded pretty bad now too!

I live far from downtown, but one day we drove through when the waters had receded from the high roads, and I took a really good video. Should I post it? It shows some of the damage afterwards.

I was close to getting hit by the flood it came to my backyard it was very sad.....Great video!

has your downtown ever had this happen in recent history? just unbelievable looking ... and i know not just CR IA ... so many states affected!!

We had a flood in 1993; the flood waters weren't anticipated to even reach the height of 1993 though it did, and the water levels raised 11 feet above the record set in 1993.
Its been over a month since the flood and it has been hard to see everyone cleaning out their homes and businesses though it seems as though things are getting better everyday.
