Bomber Command

My tribute to bomber command where 55000 men lost their lives the highest percentage of loss of all the British and commonwealth armed services. And I realise this is probably a controversial one although not to me. A lot of people tend to look at it from todays perspective instead off what was happening at the time. And with hindsight some of the resources should have gone to coastal command to fight the U-Boat but that's with hindsight. You know what the Soviets did to the Balts? And in the short time they occupied the East of Poland they managed to kill 0,5 million Poles, most of them in the Gulag.

The balance of power during winter war had been:

Soviets: 1 mill men, 3000 tanks, 3800 aircrafts

Finns: 250 000 men, 30 tanks, 130 aircrafts.

Hiter was not welcomed very friendly in Finland.

Nazi Germans asked the Finns to cut of Leningrad from the East. But they refused to do so. Therefore the Soviets had an access to Leningrad across the lake Ladoga and where they could transport some supplies to the city.

It was a war that had to be fought, there is no doubt about that.

But any war only has one lagacy ... pain and suffering. Even though the evil of Nazism was beaten the ones that really suffered all looked the same if you take away the flags. No side in any war won it without getting blood on their hands and even the men that were there often felt shame at what had to be done in the name of freedom.

@Elberiver11 the allies have done FAR WORSE? The nazis start world war 2, they invade countless countries in europe, they kill countless "woman and babies" when they invade these countries as well as thousands and thousands of men from each country, they round up any that are seem to be un-pure or sub-races shove them into concentrations camps (woman and childeren) and have them either worked to death, used for experiments or executed. Yeah the allies were far worse. you are one dimensional

The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. At Rotterdam, London, Warsaw, and half a hundred other places, they put their rather naive theory into operation. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind. "Bomber" Harris.

It seems hard to believe (or perhaps too depressing a fact to face) that FOUR such neo-nazi cunts should spend so much of their free time basically vandalising all youtube posts regarding the RAF and WWII with their obnoxious twisted version of history.

I find their comments highly offensive. Is there anyway to block their purile vandalism?
