@MrHansolaffen I would put "Amarok" as the peak of his work as a whole, personally, but I would say the "Taurus" series is the peak of is 80's work.

@technfreak1 And is it me or at the start of Mirage..around 18:41 the the Vibraphone acoustic sound gets caught up by the Vocoder Mic??...sounds funny at the start

After listening to Mike Oldfield for over 15 years I have to say this is the pinnacle of his musical genius. I know Tubular Bells, Hergest Rige and Ommadawn is usually viewed as his greatest work and to a large degree I agree and understand that. But none of these are as dynamic and succint as Taurus I... Mike Oldfield über alles!
