I decided after some research to try fooling with photomultiplier tubes for the first time in a long life of messing with semiconductor and photoresistive photosensors. The result was an ambitious project (still in stages of improvement) aimed at building the ultimate "photolistener" (converting changes in light into sound) with the possibility of being able to listen to high energy particles and rays at the same time. This I called, "Project Arcturus", and this video series shows you how it was built and how it works.
