    It is actually easier than you think compared to rapping in English. If you ignore the effects of tones as they do in Mandarin Chinese music—this is not so in music in other languages like that from Hong Kong—, there are far fewer phonemes, individual sounds of the language, that a word could rhyme with, so it is much easier to keep meter. What makes it even easier is that because Chinese has much less stress and intonation of words, it is easier for a rapper to match words to the meter.
