-Sigh- they film it and then edit it and show it on tv. This was filmed during June and May. So it is possible that she was in labor.

This legend was tested and debunked on the TV show MythBusters, on November 11, 2009, in the episode "Crash and Burn". However, the rocket constructed for the TV show differed significantly from that described by Evliya Çelebi; in addition to drawing on fantastic confabulations when considering design options, the final design did not attempt to utilize period materials or adhere to Çelebi's description.

Why did they mess this up? They always mess up!!

Can some scientist or know-it-all please tell me what would have happened if they would have simply aimed the rocket straight up? I say the rocket would have gone high as hell, and when there's no more power, the guy jumps out and he really doesn't need very big wings to control the fall good enough to stay alive.

I come from the ottoman race, firstly ottoman empire used to be a united nation, just like the us now, there was no discrimination against any other races or religions, when the sultan conquered the land he would give the option for the enemy to either unite the ottoman empire with keeping their cultural aspects and religious buildings or the option of death. So the enemy would keep on living, on the same land, the same way they used to live however their empire name would change to sth else.

@EnlightenedShqiptar For Armanian Genocide, Turkey wants an independent commision to research on Genocide claims. These claims are one-sided from Armania who are famous for their strong lobby in big countries. Turkey just invites them to work on it and ready to accept their fault. World closed their hears to what Turkey says on these claims as you did and never talks about how many Turkish people died by Armanians during the WW1.

@EnlightenedShqiptar Ottomans were not a racist country. If a child has talent then as you see they can even promote to second important guy next to sultan. Also Ottomans were the country of Balkaners of course. There were 72 nations.

Believe me if Ottomans were an empire as you mentioned, today you wont be able to speak your language. See England or France who forced every placed they captured their language, culture and religion.
