@thefloacist I agree with you...from all the interviews I have seen. JC was always my fave but they are all great. JT also had high profile producers working on his solo albums so of course more marketing and support from the record label. I think JC worked with friends to produce his first solo and I think you're right, he must have known that working with high profile producers, etc. would get you more commercial success. Maybe he wasn't striving for that. He's in it for the art.

this is what pop music is missing nowadays, groups that actually have the talent to sing AND dance at the same time without needing to have to lip sync, JC even tried his darndest to get that high ad-lib out while bouncing, and he did not do badly at all, all I'm saying is, if you can't endure the 4 minute performance, maybe you don't deserve the popularity and fame you're getting...! mm.
