[After two hours of being apart, Kevin is finally wheeled into room 405, where Carly rests in her hospital bed, hooked up to an IV and such. Olivia, Nick, Steph, and Joe are sitting in the corner around a coffee table, playing cards. Kevin is also hooked into an IV, and his foot is raised with a bandage wrapped around it.]
Nurse Williams: Kevin, you'll recover swimmingly. But you'll have to stay here for two weeks, as your fiance will be able to leave in one week.
Kevin: Can she stay with me?
Nurse Williams: No sir. I'm sorry.
Kevin: Well.... thank you.
Nurse Williams: *closes the door and walks out*
Nick: Are you okay, dude?
Kevin: *nod* I'm fine. How is she?
Steph: She's been crying for the past hour and a half.
Kevin: Why?
Olivia: She feels awfully responsible for your surgery.
Kevin: *sigh* I tried to tell her.
Joe: Well, it's also because she missed you.
Olivia&Steph: What?
Nick: Yeah. While you two went to get a snack, she told us...
Kevin: What'd she say?
Joe: Where's Kevin.
Olivia: Aw...
Kevin: Does she not remember?
Nick: That's about it... the doctors did a memory search and cleared out a couple of things.
Kevin: Does she remember we're engaged?
Joe: Yes.
Carly: ...Kevin?
Kevin: Yes, I'm here.
Carly: Oh good. Are you okay?
Kevin: Just a few stitches.
Carly: ....from what?
Kevin: I impaled my foot on a rock.
Carly: Oh. Are you okay?
Kevin: Yes.
Carly: Did they hurt?
Kevin: No, they're just stitches for you.
Carly: What?
Olivia: *tears up* Stitches of love... how romantic!
