  • RCWP solves the versus populum/ad orientem debate: put "priests" on either side of the altar! Simply brilliant!

Reminds me of "north end" celebrations in evangelical Angiicanism.

  • @kopec1 TY for the email. I'll reply later.

"mediatrix - a woman who is a mediator. go-between, intercessor, "(Online dictionary). So much for I Timothy 2.5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." Shame RCs like you use and rely on the Bible when it suits them (Peter the 'rock nonsense) to claim superiority but when it doesn't suit it's conveniently ignored.

The main 'perversion' of Christinaity by the way revolves round man-made doctrine.

  • @MrJayguess And by the way what this video shows is a perversion of Christianity.

  • @MrJayguess And I have given you the sense in which "Mediatrix" may be applied. Point made that the BVM's role in salvation history is totally dependent on her Son, the Lord Jesus. Perhaps you're not sure about what the title actually means.

  • @kopec1 "no Catholic believes that the BVM is mediatrix" Then let me enligten you. "For this reason, the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Auxiliatrix, Adiutrix, and Mediatrix. " (The Second Vatican Council (Lumen gentium ## 61-62), ).

Point made. Maybe you should learn a little about your own religion. I call it a 'religion' because it sure ain't what Christ founded. That's called Christianity.

  • @MrJayguess Jay no Catholic believes that the BVM is mediatrix. Perhaps in the sense that she gave to the Lord Jesus His human body. The Church has the commission from the Lord to bind and loose on the earth. Her decisions are ratified in heaven because they are made by the Holy Spirit speaking in and through His Church. You cannot separate the Church from the Holy Spirit as you want to do. Sure there have been bad popes but the integrity of the Catholic Faith has never been compromised by them.

  • @kopec1 Your point is? Are we talking og the same pope here who began the heretical, unBiblical and idolatrous concept of making Mary 'mediatrix'.?

Let God decide on the last day.

As I said - an organisation has declared it - not the Holy Spirit - unless you claim that all popes (no matter how vindictive, satanic and evil) are inspied by that same Spirit?

  • @MrJayguess Apostolicae Curae 1896 by Pope Leo XIII

  • @kopec1 Is this the same 'revealed truth' that ended up in the murder of the Cathars? The Inquisition? Indulgences? Purgatory? The same 'revealed truth' that allowed hundreds (if not 1000s) of RC clergy to rape little children and get away with it - with even the present pope knowing about it and covering it all up?

"The H/Spirit has never contradicted Himself and never will."Absolutely, unless, of course, priesthood reserved for men only was never from the Spirit in the first place.

  • @kopec1 "no Anglican bishop or ordained minister carries the priesthood of Christ." SAYS WHO?

"I have not decided this. The Catholic Church has done so!" EXACTLY. AN ORGANISATION.
