Theres a hadeeth that i just heard yesterday abt some scholars considering musical instruments haram when the day of judgment is near i guess thats exactly whats happening

Assalaamu alaikum. May Allah Almighty reward you, habibi Sami Yusuf, for being such a great ambassador for Islam. The hadiths that your critics are relying on to criticize you are themselves da'eef (weak) and therefore are disqualified from supporting any fatwa (religious ruling) that condemns singing and musical instruments. Some respected scholars, including Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, have said that, as long as the lyrics are halal, then ALL musical instruments AND singing are halal. Salaam.

put good music and an one year old starts dancing, god has given us this, there is nothing wrong in music. there are too many morons out there calling themselves religious, bring up differences between shia suni. i would say, just go and educate yourselves and analyze how many wars and civilian casualties we had only because of those morons spreading hate between people, using religion!

why does it matter if someone is sunni or shia or anything else? Why are there so many conflicts coz of that? No one needs to go against anyone, live in peace urself and let others live in peace

I know brother Sami, and can say that he is a practising sunni muslim alhamdulilah. Please people, if you have nothing constructive to say, then don't say it at all.
