I'm a 19 year old aspiring country singer/songwriter and I try to base what I play around traditional country like this. Keith is my inspiration. I wish I could have been around when country was country. His songs hit so close to home and the speak to the heart. That's what country is supposed to be. R.I.P. Keith.

The greatest country music singer ever period. My dad use to listen Keith Whitley, I remember being a young kid in the 80's and his music coming on the radio. I miss those days, you will never have that again.
