Clapperboards save sore palms!

I finally bought mine after a long shoot made my hands red-raw from clapping them together for my synch marker. I'd love a smart-slate because my audio-desk is SMPTE compliant, but as you said, they can cost thousands !!!! :( :( :(

I usually stripe my video, allowing me to use the facilities of my desk, locked to the video right up until the final stages of production. I uploaded a striped video to YT, too. That worked fine. The desk locks to it perfectly.

Our web designer made it for us. I believe he uses Adobe Fireworks. :)
