Here's a mini fuzz marriage made in ..Oregon. The now scarce Catalinbread V8 Fuzz Tone Engine and Ottava Magus Octave Ring Multiplier make inspiring sounds on their own but the whole is greater than the sum of the parts when used together. Great fun.

Recorded with my Clapton Strat fitted with Brierley vintage spec singles, a Laney VC50 fitted with Celestion Greenbacks and Logic. A little compression and verb were added in Logic.

  • Great stuff as always. I really enjoy your videos. Great playing and great recording quality.

Can you control the self-oscillations on the V8 with guitar vol/tone knobs and pickup selector as on the Teaser Stallion?

  • You sure can! Thanks for watching. :)

  • The little girl is too FREAKING adorable. Especially with the British accent. And the pedals sound awesome.

  • Heheh. Sadie says thanks, and so does her dad. :)

  • Burg: Those are two insanely incredible sounding pedals! I've got to get me both of 'em! Thanks for sharing! I wouldn't have found these if it weren't for you!

  • Haha. Don't blame me - please!! It's Nicholas' fault; he made them! Actually, he's NOT making them anymore so you'd want to grab whatever stock is still out there and grab it quick. They'll be commanding some mental prices soon, even though the V8 has sort of been incorporated into the new Teaser and the Ottava is getting a makeover as we speak. But the little ones?: Gone.
