Firudin Allahverdi - Tonyukuk (performed by Zoltan Almashy)

The piece was composed in 2008. Lyrics used in this piece are written in ancient Turkish, taken from a text on Tonyukuk monument of VIII century which was found in basin of Orkhon and Yenisey rivers.
It`s very instructively story because in spite of his great services in esatblishing a state with the large territory, Tonyukuk had no intention to be a king. According to the text on the monument, after the establishing country Tonyukuk voluntarily resigned from to be a king to let "better and fitter" person to take the position.
