  • (contd), ... my aim is to be fully vegan. But I'm being compassionate with myself whilst I reach that goal gradually. It's not hard but I've had to wean myself off cheese (still get tempted sometimes), and learn to think differently when planning meals and shopping for food. I've been doing all this alone without a support group or any vegan friends, so when I see a video like this I find it really encouraging. I appreciate your compassionate approach. Some people need encouragement and support.

  • @tara34952 I am blessed to have you share with me your journey to Veganism... I believe that you will eventually become 100%. Know that there are many people out here who have worked hard as well to become Vegan. Please stay the course and know that your life on this earth is to be stewards of her. By living Vegan you care not only for yourself, but the animals and the earth.. thank you .. McKenna

  • Could you do a video on children and vegetarianism/vegan, please if you know about the health and moral issues around it?

  • @AllThatKazz I will think on this.. I am not well versed on the nutrition of children... I do know that any foods that are cruelty free will afford them enough of what they need as long as there is a balance of all fruits, veggies, good fats like avocado and nuts.. multi grains and such like oatmeal for breakfast...

  • @Rooie1961 I'm vego but my children eat meat (yes, I feed it to them, hate doing it). Although when I buy meat for them which is probably twice a week, they have organic, biodynamic meats. Our eggs are organic and free range. I have a notion and I'm not saying I'm right, but my notion is that my children should eat meat until they are adults. Maybe I'm brainwashed.

  • @AllThatKazz There is no reason for your children to eat any animals at all. Yes we all have been brainwashed to believe that animals are necessary to be healthy. It's actually the opposite. Doctors have been trained to tell you they need animals for proper diet.. WRONG!!! There are so many foods they can derive all necessary nutrients fats, carbs, and proteins, etc. Goggle any food you wish to replace and ask what veggie or grain or nut so on.. could be used to replace it.. I used google a lot

  • Thankyou for posting this video. I personally have been on a very long and gradual path towards veganism. For me it has been a gradual process not a sudden one. It even takes courage for me to say I am 'vegan' now because I have this sneaking notion that because I'm not perfect, not 100% 'vegan' I don't deserve to use that label for myself. For example at the moment, I still eat organic eggs, and the occasional fish. And I still wear clothes that are made of wool. But in my heart my aim is ...

  • @AllThatKazz I'm vegan as are lots of my friends and out of all who were not vegan from birth, we all wish that we had been raised vegan. When children (like adults know why you're not giving them meat they wont want to eat it and will thank you for it later) There's lots of facebook and meet up groups for veg families and children, I can always find some more info on them for you if you like.

  • @purityofveganlife I shall never give up!!!!! thank you xx

  • @purityofveganlife thank you so much I know that I am not alone as I feel it.. may you be well xx McKenna
