I read somewhere that the actor Jeremy Brett who starred with Audrey also in War and Peace was in awe of her beauty. He even said that when he first met her at her home, he almost 'drowned in the swimming pool with the beauty of her'. Aw.

this is one of those movies there should never be a re-make of. It doesnt matter if Audrey hepburn sang or Marni Nixon ( she did most of the singing) this is one of those "perfect as is" movies. Casablanca is another.

Is there anyone here that knows if they ever released a version of this where JB sings? I love his voice on Merry Widow and can't imagine he sang badly here....It's horrible that they dubbed him.

But it's a musical, so new productions of it are happening all over the world, all the time. And honestly, in my opinion, any production of any kind in which Henry Higgins actually SINGS (unlike Rex Harrison) is better than this movie version.

No, it has to be someone who actually has talent and is not pulled out of the very tiny, limited sphere of actors who have been on Glee or Disney Channel, because those are most likely the only actors you know of.
