@audioinflames why no respect, he was good, overrated, but good. metal heads that hate on groove metal in general are just being assholes

@ArseLoad0fMetal666 If you had read the whole thing then you would know your not the only voice of reason. But then again, why would you? It's a retarded argument that should never be read by anyone ever.
Don't take that the wrong way.

@audioinflames I disagree. Both guitarists were phenomenal musicians, songwriters, and were highly respected as people. Comparing them like that is rather ridiculous, becuase their playing styles were much different. Dimebag remains my primary influence for playing guitar (been playing for 7 years) and Chuck is no doubt very influential as well. It's entirely opinion. As far as death metal musicians? I just told you Dimebag is my favorite guitarist, and I love to listen to and play death metal.

Some people just don't understand what a false dichotomy is. Fucking morons. No one gives a fuck wether or not you prefer Dimebag over Chuck.
-
Wow, a lot of you dweebs need to stop being such homophobic redneck dicks. Respect the dead.
-
@audioinflames Totally! And it's mostly because you're all emo faggots. But I digress....

@leo33281 metallica is metal for people who listen to top 40 radio. megadeth and slayer are the kings of thrash metal, not the metallifags. chuck schuldiner is the godfather of death metal, and he died at a somewhat early point in his carear, and is deffinately the biggest loss for death metal. as to who is the biggest loss for metal? for rock? for music? all completely a matter of opinion
-
@Tmetal and Pete Steel
-
@leo33281 You forgot a dude named Ronnie...
jesus christ are we really disputing which dead person is a greater loss??? Have some fucking respect

Chuck Schuldiner was far more talented and more influential than Dimebag. Album sales aren't a genuine reflection of a bands talents. Most fans and musicians of death metal have little respect for dimebag. Death>pantera
