John is fine in a backup role, but he is a disaster when he starts "creating". Simon is extraordinarily level headed, stable, and like a cat - he always lands on his feet. John has some insane ideas bouncing around in his bubble head and he isn't that bright. Nick is even more mentally sound than Simon, but is more low-key. Basically, John is a loose cannon and makes a fool of himself whenever he steps out in front and lets loose of Simon's coattails.
