This trailer from a previously unreleased 1950's sci-fi film was just discovered and released by an anonymous archivist in Hollywood.

The sad thing is $cientology wants to take over your life , your thoughts and you body. and make you into a brainwashed follower. Unquestioning, a hollow shell of yourself. No Freedom and no life.

Thing is, if you are a follower of L Ron Hubbard you do actually believe that this is true. Hubbard was a writer of science fiction dramas who invented Scientology in the 1950s.

I'm not sure I understand his story completely but I believe Scientologists are taught to see themselves as the last window of opportunity to save the planet, the last hope for civilisation on earth, etc etc.

People can be trained to believe just about anything.

At 1:14, the "pod being" speaking to our hero does bear some resemblance to a young L. Ron Hubbard (I think).

They remade this movie in the 80´s, but this time they named it "The body Snatchers", now they remade it again calling it "The Invasion". xD
