Twisted Metal 2 speed run - (single segment, Thumper) part 2/3

The Minion fight is my least favorite part of this run. Normally it's easy, but some major problems happened here. First of all, I didn't get completely on his side after the initial freeze. Second, when I backed away to try to reposition myself, I accidentally spun a little which led to him getting away. Then we have another freeze that somehow misses. All in all, a waste of 15 seconds. So that's the worst mistake of the run, and I was lucky not to die in desperate attempts to finish him off. On the bright side, I did manage to grab two ricochets, which wouldn't have been possible had I killed him earlier.

==New York==

This stage probably has the most room for improvement. Better luck would be nice. Enemies will always drive down to the spot where I wait, where they're easily sent over the edge to their doom.

I'm surprised Grasshopper didn't kill herself jumping down the lower ledge. That tends to happen a lot. At least she came right to me at the end.

==Antarctica==

Normally I just go straight to the teleporter. Twister was right there waiting to be killed this time, but it almost cost me. Good thing I had the shield on as Mr. Slam tried to freeze. Incidentally, this is the first Mr. Slam appearance in the run. He only appeared twice, which is good as he's one of the most annoying and heavily armored cars. Grasshopper appeared 3 times (second fewest), while Outlaw had the most appearances with 6.

Very good luck in this stage. Killing Shadow before warping out was a nice bonus, totally unexpected. Usually when it's down to 3 cars, it's not worth it to wait there. I decided to spend one more moment sitting there and he popped up.

==Holland==

Tied for my best time here (in a completed run, anyway). I didn't kill anybody for what seemed like a long time, but I was wearing them down. Had a couple notable moments here. First of all, hitting Grasshopper's corpse with the freeze. See what I mean about missing shots? Then, I was able to run under Sweet Tooth's special, which is handy tactic. He's at his worst in this stage with all the open space. And I wasn't going to take a chance ramming Twister in the middle of a good run, so I used the flame instead.

when I was a kid I got such a kick outta setting remote mines inside the pool place in NY. the computer was too stupid to jump up through the window so u could wait till it tried to inch around the locker room hallway from the pool shooting all piss and vinegar at the walls trying to hit you like an idiot...and blow it to hell. great times
