Project Gotham Racing 4 -- SSC Aero (Ludicrous) Speed

I was searching around PGR4 to try to find the fastest car in the game.

At first, I believed it was the Callaway Sledgehammer. According to information I read on the internet, it was supposed to top out at 250 mph-ish.

The Ferrari F50, Mercedes CLK-GTR and Toyota GT-One top out around 215 mph.
The Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari FFX, Saleen S7, and Porsche Supercar Concept top out around 225 mph.
The Callaway Sledgehammer sits cozy at around 240 mph.
The Koenigsegg CCX fits in at around 245 mph.

The in-game speed of the SSC Aero Ultimate TT on the Vegas Strip maxes out at 269 mph. We have a winner, folks.

The Ultimate Aero is an American-built mid-engine sports car by Shelby Super Cars more commonly known as SSC. The SSC Ultimate Aero, is currently the fastest production car in the world, with a fastest recorded speed of 413 km/h (257 mph). This speed was reportedly achieved during tests on September 13, 2007 in West Richland, Washington, United States and verified by Guinness World Records on October 9, 2007. In 2004 the company's less powerful version called the Aero SC/8T was used in development but did not go into production.

The Ultimate Aero and the Shelby Super Cars company are the brainchildren of Jerod Shelby, who spent over seven years designing the car. Only fifty Ultimate Aeros are to be produced. The Ultimate Aero is likely to cost approximately $650,000.

ie noticed that if you go from the part where the slight turn is you can go atleast 20 mph faster

Even if you come out of the corner a little bit faster than normal (say 20 mph), it doesn't equate to 20+ mph at the end of the road since the car's acceleration drops as it gets faster

No, I tried it, that bike has fast acceleration but not over 240 mph.

I actually got it in the rev limiter on the big straight in the Bohemoth.. custom game with all aero's, then draftet all the way and got 464 kmh (288 mph)
