  • I love how the V6 for this year has almost the same horsepower numbers for the GT Mustang, LOL, its also neat to compare it to the 4th gen Camaro where the V6 is about matching those V8s as well

But lets be honest, very few people buying this car are buying the V6 models, everyone is eating up the V8 models, so i ask ChevroletVehicles, with almost all of the public's focus being on the SS Camaro, do you think we can expect a Z/28 in our near future?

  • You're right, people now are buying the SS, but we anticipate that will change later on. The V6 will be the volume car for sure.

As of now, there are no plans to bring out the Z/28 unfortunately.

  • Can't wait to get my 1SS

  • Awesome. Let us know when you get it!

  • Finaly a new design for a chevrolet steering wheel ! .... no more cobalt wheel like on the corvettes .... The car looks great, cant wait to get mine :)

  • Glad you like it. But I will say that the Corvette definitely does NOT have a Cobalt steering wheel.

  • So where are the improper remarks are?

  • @ChevroletVehicles

Lol what's wrong with the Cobalt wheel?

  • @Ratmouth66

Lol makes sense since even the '11 Mustang V6 is neck n neck with the '10 GT. Unfortunately still faster than Chevy tho sorry folks. But the 4.6 V8 still makes more torque...at lower RPM too. Too bad Chevy ruined such a great car with that 70s interior.

  • I hope future Camaro's is noisy on the inside too, instead of just outside.

  • @ChevroletVehicles

Very true, my mistake, the later c6 corvette has a pontiac G6 steering wheel. but hey, that speak about quality right ?

  • am getting 1 soon

  • What memories, I worked here before the collapse of GM. The fun part of the job was the day long driving class before you were allowed to drive on the test track. What a kick, better than Disney, I would love to go back and do it again but I'm too old now and of course GM is in sad shape for jobs. I did shift noise studies on SUV's and trucks and had to train my rear end to feel the shift. Wierd supervisor and coworkers but the driving was fun. Those days are gone now, at least for me.

  • I make less than 100 grand a year and im taking delivery of mine in October. As for not being worth it thats a load of shit , because to me and any true camaro fan it is... life is short , so fuck it and enjoy the money you work so hard for. So buy a Camaro and roast the fuckin tires off it!

  • You know as nice as the new Camaro is, all I see is price tags between $40000 and $45000.00 (for a 2SS with leather and a moonroof) which is nearly the cost of what a Vette used to be priced at. The Options are very expensive and you can't really order these for MSRP prices, most dealers are charging a minimum of 5000 to 10000 over Sticker Price. It's just not worth it unless you're making over $100,000.00/year and can afford it with the cost of everything else.

  • they're not based on the sigma chassis which the cts is built on
