Prof. Nathan Lewis of Caltech takes time to speak with Science Theater about the NSF funded CCI Solar project. This is the first video of a three year program to help explain the need, the goals, and the accomplishments of the ongoing NSF Center for Chemical Innovation - Solar Project. This consortium of many different universities and laboratories is working on greatly improving our current technology for capturing the suns energy and storing it as hydrogen fuel.

Future videos will include more interviews as well as the standard Science Theater treatment of many of the basic scientific concepts involved in the work.
